CAREER HISTORY

Position: FIELD COORDINATOR TB/HIV
Reporting to: PROGRAM MANAGER TB/HIV AMPATHPLUS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Field supervision of the AMPATH-supported innovative TB activities including TB
screening at the facilities by IC-CMs, pediatric TB screening.
Day to day TB administrative work which includes but is not limited to facilitation of
commodities, for programmatic use.
Collection and QA assessment of programmatic management as well as transformation of
data into shareable reports internally and for funders and other stakeholders
Representation of the program at local, county and regional TB/HIV stakeholder meetings
Administrative liaison between clinical services, technical partners, and logistical
managers
Identification of program areas which are under performing.
Supervision of non-technically trained support staff, such as Infection Control Cough
Monitors
Advocacy for program management and support within program guidelines
Monitoring and Evaluation of specific TB indicators not collected through AMRS or the
usual MoH systems.
Data evaluation and cleaning in preparation for reporting
Field supervision of programmatic areas to ensure compliance and competence
Organization and provision of on-job trainings and mentorships for non-professional staff,
including training in reporting and compliance.
Give technical support to the health facilities offering TB services within various counties.

Prevention of pollution and Solid waste management, hazardous waste management,
medical waste management.
Food and meat inspection, market inspection and sewage treatment.

Enforcement of public health laws, town planning and approval of building plans.

Sampling of water and quality testing.
Health promotion through community mobilization and sensitization.
Immunization of KEPI and Non-KEPI diseases.
